  Deluz is a posh restaurant in a classic downtown Santander house in the luxury Sardinero neighbourhood. The relatively high priced dishes are unique and excellent, often ecological ingredients are used. Most dishes are not your typical Spanish recipes and some show quite some culinary talent of the chef(s). The staff obeys a strict etiquette, which can feel a bit stiff at times. They are not too fast, so don't expect to eat in less than two hours.

  Just returned from an evening dinner having been recommended by English friends. Arrived to an underwhelming greeting to be left 20 minutes without an aperitif. Luke warm nondescript main course meant to be Osso Bucco. Dessert was supposed to be Tiramisu but mainly ice cream. To add insult to injury, we were charged for the 2 desserts when they should have been included in the set meal. Lovely setting but the rest does not match up to it in any way.

  Parking is available in the street, but you can drop off your passengers easily in front of the door via the private driveway on the property. You must ring the doorbell to enter the house.
